This was billed as a "Youth Disco" open to all ages. I attended with a friend and 3 children, aged 5-8. The event started late, had next nobody there, and those that were had children the same age. The DJ appeared with a carrier bag of beer bottles and proceeded to play a lot of 90s RnB, unedited and unfiltered. I'm usually a fan, but it was not appropriate for the audience. The venue was incredibly rundown, and held in a car park, without blocking access to cars, again, unsafe for the age group it apparently aimed at. Clearly not what it was billed as.

Sorry guys this was a real disappointment. We came, took a look around, bought one drink each in the downstairs indoor venue (which wasn't really functioning as part of the event) and left. All within about 15 minutes of arriving. Apart from the music holding its own, £6 per person to loiter about in a grotty, disused car park with a few benches out is not something I would recommend to anyone. No thought or effort at all as to how to make the area even remotely hospitable for families and young people - whom this was aimed at. I would encourage the organisers of this event to find a better venue next time, or seriously consider how to make it more inviting for people to want to stay longer. To my mind, this all seemed to have been put together as if it were a complete afterthought.

Awful. Started an hour late. Speakers were held on with duct tape, one eventually fell over in the wind. No organisation. Interior is a hovel. What a shame had so much potential.

This was utter rubbish. They should have cancelled that if they couldn’t provide what was promised. A dj and some tables were outside. No tuck shop. No gaming room. No atmosphere.
