About Margate Soul Festival

Margate's biggest and longest running soul music festival is BACK and bigger than ever, running from Friday 2 August to Sunday 4 August.

19 indoor and outdoor venues across Margate will create the largest soul street party and festival with a new huge beachside Sunset Stage featuring this year's awesome headliners:

  • Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes
  • Heatwave
  • Dexter Wansel
  • House Gospel Choir
  • Izo Fitzroy

PLUS 70 DJs including Gordon Mac, Ricky Morrison, Derrick Patterson, Brandon Block, Booker T, Chris Coco, Nancy Noise, Jo Mills and lots more from Mi Soul Radio, Soul Beat, Zero Hour and Margate Radio.

Party in Margate, the home of soul, with thousands of other soul lovers. We have a PACKED programme this year that doesn't just include music but roller skating, street food, secret sets, brilliant food and plenty of bars where you can sit and watch the sunset!
