A New Day Festival is always a wonderful event; extremely relaxed atmosphere and with no clashes between the two stages, you're guaranteed to see all the bands you want. There's a good variety of food and drink available and everyone is very friendly.

Great day out in the sunshine and beautiful surroundings with best ever headliners Gong and Hawkwind ... Gong with the 'wind as some wag said.
Not for profit organisation ... A New Day Festival ... feel the difference.

Excellent, friendly festival, lovely people, clean loos! Good choice of music and food. Only downside (minor) was the water point in the cricket field. Very untidy around it and tripping hazards with hose pipes and other stuff lying around. Otherwise really happy.

Very good day with some class bands. Prices are fair and reasonable considering food and drink not allowed to be brought in.
I would even be prepared to pay a say £5 parking for the day fee if it would help guarantee the quality of bands.

This was a wonderful festival of a decent size (not too massive). It was really easy to wander between the two stages and see continual music from close up. There are plenty of food and other stalls and if you just want to sit in a chair (take one) on the side of the hill you can do that too. I only went for a day and didn't camp but getting in and out was very easy despite the narrow lane. I made a snap decision and booked the same morning through Skiddle. As with any outdoor event, if it is hampered with heavy rain it won't be as much fun!

Great venue great music, the only criticism is having Feeder as the final nights headline, they don't fit with the whole theme of the festival, as witnessed by many many people leaving when they came on.
