Review of Meet Father Christmas

I'm not sure if this was the first year they had done this but it didn't feel particularly well organised. We turned up bang on time for our 2pm booking but my young kids stumbled across Santa who looked great but wasn't prepared - he was still eating a sandwich, drinking a fizzy drink and didn't engage with them at all which killed their excitement somewhat. When we spent time in the grotto itself he struggled again with the engagement. In saying that I feel this could be great with a bit of extra thought and organisation - for example, maybe find out some basic information about the kids to improve the interactions. And get some elves to entertain the kids in the waiting area and make it more Christmassy up there. Please up the magic of Christmas next year - this should be a special and exciting time for all kids! :)
