Sailing barge Edith May is, almost without doubt, the most unique venue in Kent. Moored in the historic brickmaking dock at Lower Halstow, this restored Thames sailing barge spends her summers taking passengers on sailing trips, before converting to become a restaurant tea room and live music venue in winter. Her cosy hold is heated by a large coal burner and oozes atmosphere and character from her ancient planks and beams.
