Review of The Return To V7 Saxon Street
Well.... firstly sound guys should be ASHAMED. There was a terrible cross over between the techno/ gabba (that just got louder and louder) on the upstairs balcony, which spilled into the main area, overshadowing the music of the headliners. Even the mc's and djs where looking up there coz it was taking over.
None of the dnb djs compared sets-
they played 31 seconds 4/5 times, Badass, Champion Sounds and Lighter and Helicopter and ready or not at least 3 times.
Now I know there old skool classics but there are plenty more to choose and there was a lack of variety within the d n b sets, There were no build ups and drops, it was like they where just bashing tunes out. It was like listening to the same set with different MCs. Sad.
We drive nearly 5 hours and payed 60 a ticket! We are old skool dn b heads who were very excited about this. Very disappointed.
All that said the crowd were absolutely beautiful- up for it, lovely, friendly, respectful and no totally trashed gropey men. Felt totally safe and the love for their music shone through.

Review of Cafe Mambo - Halloween In The City
Prices for tick*ts are fair but regarding the drinks sold it's a rip off. Plus I don't know what type of drinks they sell there because after a few drinks all 4 of us me and my friends felt really bad.
