Award winning saxophonist and a member of the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra for 25 years, and is noted for his soulful style of playing. With the Orchestra he has performed with Branford Marsalis, Gary Burton, Joe Lovano, John Scofield, Kurt Elling, Peter Erskine, Mike Stern, Benny Golson, Randy Brecker and many more. Current projects include New Foxus with pianist Euan Stevenson, Modern Vikings and Mama Terra, currently signed to London record label Acid Jazz. Texas , Curtis Stigers, Killers , Travis are some of the names he played with and recorded. With firing solos Konrad will perform for the first time with the Wee Scottish Big Band so come down and enjoy a great night.
