Great night out at the Boiler Shop last night. Sir Funk on top form as usual followed by King Bee who were amazing musicians with some great tunes, got to love a vibrophone. They kept the crowd in the groove until Craig came on (a bit late) and then the room came alive!

Love this venue, though the drink prices are pretty high, unfortunately we waited until 11.30pm and Craig Charles still hadn't showed, people were growing restless. So we gave up and left.
He was pretty late on last time too. So I was very disappointed.

They randomly shut one of the bars for no reason after the 1st hour which then cause a 45 minute wait for drinks. Good apart from that

Great event. only downside was the band, not funk or soul and brought the mood down. Craig Charles immediately played great funky music.
(being older, I brought cash. card only accepted which was a real downer, should have advertised this beforehand). Otherwise, great evening, nice friendly older crowd

the power of craig charles persona just amazing me the guy is a pure legend am grateful to boiler shop for giving me the chance to see him in person again, hey craig shame you couldnt grab the trilby black hat getting your attention was a pure epic moment haha

Great tradition- come along every year with friends and family.
Loads of energy and amazing jazz funk from King Bee. Smoove and Turrell fab as always.
Loved the dancers.
Only downside- Boilershop is a brilliant venue but it was freezing last night. Had my coat and gloves on all night!
