Review of La Discotheque

Atmosphere was great - a real mix of people/ages and all there to just enjoy and dance. Relaxed and not self conscious. Music was good, some more well known tunes towards the end - wasn't over crowded, so space to dance and getting served at the bar was quick. Loved the glitter station and the dancers. Expected it to be more of a show, a bit more over the top from the info seen beforehand than it was. And most of all - dropped my purse without realising and someone handed it in - loved that people were so honest.

Absolutely terrible for the price. What did I pay 25 pound for? Supposed to be an 'award winning disco carnival filled to the brim with dancers' there was literally two drag queens and two people on stilts. There was a glitter station which you had to pay at least 4 pound for, surely some glitter could have at least been included in the price?
Absolutely shocking to be honest, was there about 2 hours and a waste of time. Threw a bit confetti and some balloons around and that was the most interesting thing of the night. The music was also terrible for the majority of the night.
Dont pay the price! Completely not worth it.

Not as advertised. A very watered down version of what we saw online. All very amateurish. Looked like it was being done on the cheap. Left after less than an hour

The Duallers were great. The venue was good, not too big but plenty of room for all [the gig was a sell out]. Bit of a queue for drinks initially but that's because we were all arriving at the same time. The drinks were reasonably priced especially for a major city centre.

Disappointed seen The Dualers on You Tube really liked what they did bought a couple of cd's love them but unfortunately it didn't work on Saturday would have said it was a different band. Venue was fine would go again to see someone else but won't be booking to see the Dualers again. I do think the crowd enjoyed themselves but the music didn't hit the mark for my husband and I sadly. Was really looking forward to it booked the tickets a year ago.

It was the first time we had been to The Boiler Shop - a great venue to go to, the Dualers were brilliant night out and support band great. Great atmosphere..great night ..can't wait to see them again
