About
Castillo Nuevo Music was founded by USA trombonist Jason Holcomb (The O’Jays, Frankie Valli, The Four Seasons) and pianist Alix Shepherd to showcase exciting and authentic Afro-Cuban and Latin instrumental groove music for British audiences.
Both having extensive international musical careers, the pair were keen to create something that celebrates the incredible musical traditions of Latin America and the Caribbean, all the while bringing a modern interpretation and some modern soul and funk vibes.
Let us pour you a rum and then hit the dancefloor!
