Review of Slaley Hall Hotel Christmas 2nd November

Slaley Hall is a beautiful venue, however the choice of xmas gifts and christmas atmosphere was poor. Apart from a couple of stalls most of the items available were just tat you could pick up at any street mark*t cheaper. There was an overpowering smell of garlic - not very Christmassy! No mulled wine or mince pies - in fact no food or drink at all unless you ate in the hotel restaurant. Very very disappointed 😞

I felt sorry for the sellers. They had to set up shop in the hotel due to expected rain. The rain was not forecasted until after the fete finished. Shame there was not a more varied range of sellers. Thoroughly enjoyed the Greek food which was for sale.

Not well signed to get to. It was held inside instead of outside although it was a beautiful sunny day even the stall holders were expecting to be outside. Disappointed.

For a summer market this was very disappointing. I thought this would have been outside being a summer market but it was is a stuffy room. No music when we arrived. Only 2 food stalls. Definitely won't be returning.
