1st timer!! staff great but the bands were rubbish. brass band inside? didnt work. and we have been to many bike rallies and never seen so much rubbish dropped on the ground.

We went on the Saturday of this 3 day festival, having a great family day out and enjoying the location, the beer, the music and also the rugby. We were blessed with good weather which always helps, but I think the event was well run and the choice of beers in particular was outstanding. One minor point is that I think there could have been more soft drinks on offer.

Good fun but expensive - so I would only recommend it on that basis.
Normally with a beer festival the entry fee includes some tokens but not this one which costs more than others already. A bit disappointing!
Other than that good food and beer.

Fab time even though i'm not a real ale fan did manage to find a few i quite liked, good music, Ideal weather. Good camping field close to main tent.Hopefully we will be back next year.

We enjoyed our two days at the festival. The selection of beer was excellent. The delivery of beers , temp, staffing, quality etc was very high.

The bands were all v good and a pleasure to watch. The Rugby was v good but a bit too hot to watch for long this year.

The loos were excellent are still clean and working on Sunday morning! We have the event in our diaries for next year now.
There was plenty of room on the camp / caravan site . The water tap was well hidden though but overall v good despite the late night antics of a group of campers next to our caravan in the early hours of Sunday

The festival just seems to get better every year. A fantastic selection of beers, but ciders were a bit limited - not much on the dry side.

Fantastic event again. Very well organised and an amazing atmosphere. Not a massive criticism, but the only thing I would have liked was free water as the unbelievable weather pushed the temperature right up.

i was given the impression that tickets were running so i bought online which added £2.00 to the ticket price. however when i arrived tickets were still available on the gate ithink this was a ruse to generate more income surely advanced online booking should offer a discount not cost more!
I thought that the selection and quality of beer was excellent , however I thought that the food was very overpriced a captive market being ripped off

This is one of the best, if not, the best beer festivals in the North! I've been coming 7 years and it just gets better and better - I've never seen it as busy as the Saturday this year (the weather certainly helped!) and I chose to do 3 nights, definitely doing that again!! Roll on next year!

Great event and wide selection of beers and ciders. I missed the mango cider this year but on the plus side, there were more caterers there.
