Review of Party At The Park Newport
The line up has been better in previous years also it wasn't advertised that the main headliner ie. Earth, wind and fire would be a tribute. Lemar, artful dodger and shola ama were really good. Reggae stage was amazing too! Venue was fine a bit far down to walk and nightmare at end to get home from with taxi queues, but actual venue inside was spacious and nice to be outdoors with lovely weather! Prices were a bit expensive but was fully expecting this as it's a festival, all staff who I come across were lovely and friendly from gate stuff, to security, to bar staff and cleaners. The atmosphere was lovely, seen loads of people I knew and every one I've ever been to, it has always been overall an enjoyable experience. Please keep free ticket for BlueLightCard as it's a real treat that me and my colleagues look forward to every year! Xx

Review of Party At The Park Newport
Had a free ticket but inside the food and drinks were a rip off £6.50 for a 440ml can of cider , Stella , Budweiser and £7.50 for a pint of Stella Magners etc chips cheese and jalapeños £10.40 and £10.80 for a burger we work for the NHS on £12 an hour not own it . The groups were great but it was out of the way from Tredegar Park and took myself and a nurse 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to the Royal Gwent where we live . As you're not allowed to take drinks in with you water, energy drinks ,cola that's where they've got you it was a boiling hot day and you needed to drink and eat . Would go again but I wouldn't buy any food or drink if the prices aren't sorted . This was the worst case of greed I've seen from a festival in a long time . The vendors should be told that they need to charge a lower price for food and drink ie 10 cans of Stella £11 in the shops but £65.00 here and almost double for food . This is shocking and a real rip off . A work colleague of mine has said for me to contact the wales online team to report this
