Review of Clubland Classix Cwmbran

Prices of drinks were pretty expensive. Staff worked hard to keep it good and eliminate trouble, but the narrow walk way to get inside the building( which was meant to be kept clear) became overcrowded with smokers and there was no room to enter or exit tidy, which resulted in ppl barging past each other and causing issues that while I was there could easily have escalated into conflict. This was in my opinion down to poor staff allocation. There was 1 point security couldn't get through until I shouted and moved people. Either staff needed to be more authoritive or allocation to keep entry and exit points clear and flowing needs to be re assessed. Having done stewarding work the week before at titans I sympathise with the staff but they should still be able to control the crowd effectively.

Had a brilliant night again, but this year there was drugs everywhere. Tighter restrictions are needed, more floating security rather than them standing by the stage.
