Review of Festival Of Comedy Newport - Winter Series
Enjoyed the evening but some of the comedian's were not on their best form and didn't even seem to have prepared their set. Sean Walsh headlined and thankfully was on top form and made up for it though. Good atmosphere overall, comfy seats but £6 to park and expensive drink prices put me off the ICC venue. Unreserved seating also made things a bit chaotic if you were attending as a larger group.

Good line up - would defo go again.
Only issue with the venue is the car parking payment terminal queues at the end. Turns out you can pay earlier in the night but that wasn't well signed.

Review of Festival Of Comedy Newport - Winter Series
A good night out but a lot of room for improvement. Desperate need for more accessibility info on both promoter website and venue website. Bit of a sausagefest, needs more diversity. MC was very entertaining but minimal housekeeping, audience needed a firmer hand as a lot of noisy drunken talking going on while the acts were on stage, no info given about breaks so people were just wandering in and out to get trays of drinks or use the bathroom, very disruptive. That's all very well at an outdoor festival but not fun at an indoor seated event. Comedy is different from music, you can still enjoy music with distractions and interruptions but if someone needs the loo in the middle of an act, and the whole row they are sitting in has to stand to let them out, you're missing the set up for the gag. I'd drop the word festival for indoor events in a single venue, might discourage the rude, drunken, attention-seeking behaviour in the audience.
