The Patriot, Known as the “Home of Rock” Is the only Rock pub venue set in the heart of the Welsh valleys. The bar owned and run by the Patriots Motorcycle Club, United Kingdom. We promote exceptional bands with outstanding talent. This has earned us the reputation “Legendary” as the Patriots MC UK have consistently provided the best rock entertainment in the valleys now for 15 years. The Patriot is open to all members of the public and has gained a reputation locally second to none as not only a family pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere, but has become one of the finest live music venues in the land featuring: EVERY SATURDAY EVENING local cover and tribute bands covering a wide variety of styles from classic rock, blues, folk rock and much more: EVERY FRIDAY EVENING we have featured some of the best National signed and unsigned bands in the country as well as Bands and acts from as far afield as: THE USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, and EUROPE. EVERY THURSDAY EVENING: We have a Jam Night where a multitude of talent congregate to share their love of music. The Patriots are now involved with the Dream Achievers Music Academy (DAMA) who will bring on and advise new young raw talent. Like Revival and Swift Arvel , two local bands that have been signed by a management company. THE PATRIOT is at present open 3 days a week thu, Fri & Sat Thursday Jam night 20.00 - 23.00 FRIDAY : 19.00 to 01:00 an evening of live music with signed and unsigned bands from all over the world. SATURDAY: 19:00 to 01:00 A night of live music featuring predominantly local cover Bands and Tribute bands but occasionally we may put on a special night featuring a signed international band.
