Review of Reggae & Riddim Festival 2024
I attended on the Friday which opened late. The Village looked like it was only half prepared. one food outlet wasn't opening til the Saturday which was disappointing. The Jerk barbecue shack to the left as I faced the stage had no signage to guide customers to the order and pay point so people ended up queuing at the food pick up point which caused confusion, delays and having to queue twice. At least one gentleman became quite irate and I spent an hour waiting for food. In general some areas for improvement, I would have preferred more old school Reggae or even a musical tour of how Reggae has developed since it's inception but the atmosphere was good and I would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Review of Reggae & Riddim Festival 2024
A great event. Wonderful for Newport City to be Headlining this event, bringing the community of Newport together and many more people for around the country and from further away. Also a great venue which was in a great location for people to get to. Also very well organised, crowd control, especially entering and leaving the event. Great idea to lay on local business, and great not having to pay for packing, especially after paying 2 days at the festival.
All in all a great event. Well done Urban circle and to all the organisers and everyone involved, thank you.

I've never been to a festival where there was no timetable or program and you couldn't find out what was on when from anyone. information on the website within accurate comma for example, they said there will be bottles of free world to available everywhere we couldn't find any or even a facility to top up our own water. The music was very narrow and fairly unrelated to classic reggae. clouds of dust blowing around were not great but it was friendly

I WAS RIPPED OFF. I bought my ticket on my phone just before 6 pm drove there and was refused entry as I arrived just after 6:30 pm others who bought day tickets were there all day and night. I couldn’t join my friends at a birthday doo here.
