Review of Northampton County Beer Festival - 9th, 10th & 11th September
Wonderful experience as ever at the Northampton Beer Festival. The music maybe isn't to everyones taste and does get on a bit of the loud side, but I suppose that is down to personal preference.
I would say for next year though they need to get some more food vans, selection in that area was minimal and fairly expensive for what you got!

Review of Northampton County Beer Festival - 9th, 10th & 11th September
We went first day, early afternoon. The weather forecast was poor, so you would expect the attendance being light. Music did not start until 5. The first act was not on for too long.
There was a wide range of beers and the ones I had were in good condition.

Only think I could say to improve on would be more choice of food. There wasn’t much choice other than unhealthy options like, burgers hotdog hog roasts and sweets.
Would have been nice to see a cheese & meats stall, local produce to support our local businesses.
Also maybe some salad bars and fresh smoothies just as an alternative option for those driving or not drinking alcohol.

Review of Northampton County Beer Festival - 9th, 10th & 11th September
Food from Go Greek truck wasn't good. Additionally, it was not authentic at all. Coming originally from Greece myself I know the difference between souvlaki and geeros and one of the options they offered was "chicken souvlaki geeros" when clearly this is too different dishes souvlaki OR geeros. When we asked them why they would name the dish like that (which doesn't make sense for a greek person) , the answer they gave us was "because that's what was written on the package". Also, they had a dish called donner geeros when clearly Donner is a Turkish dish. And for all these they were charging 10 pounds for a geeros/wrap which is way above average for a geeros/wrap. The meat at the wrap wasn't enough at all and the taste wasn't Great, so definitely not worth of 10 pounds.

Review of Northampton County Beer Festival - 9th, 10th & 11th September
Great range of drinks to suit everyone. Particularly enjoyed the extensive range of ciders as well as the beer. Good to see imperial stout available too plus craft beer. Friendly bar staff. I seemed to recall that in previous years CAMRA members used to get free entry rather than extra drinks tokens. We would have come more than once if we had had free entry rather than free tokens. A friendly family atmosphere during the afternoon we visited and good to see some sheltered seating available for when it rained. Thanks to all involved in the event, especially the volunteers!

Spirits tent was a disgrace. Got more spirits in my cupboard at home!
Music was really average, some weird hippy guy preaching s**t at people
