This is my 4th time seeing Rosalie & band, and possibly the best. Really enjoyed the whole set.
Galahad had a good, slightly ballady sound and I enjoyed their music.
Tuppeny bunters are totally different to the others, trashy but catchy piano and drums. Defo fancy Fi!!

First time at an event here and i really enjoyed it.

This is the second time seeing the fabulous Rosalie Cunningham and her tremendously talented band at the Black Prince Northampton.
The venue is deceptively big stretching back to include the live music venue room.The sound quality,and lighting would put many larger venues to shame ! Clearly the importance of delivering live music to music lovers is paramount here.
This was a triple bill and both support duo's were highly entertaining.
Rosalie and her band tore through a blistering set mainly from her second solo album " Start with the corners" Closing your eyes and listening or watching the band especially the costumed girls performing simply oozed 70's psychedelic rock vibes,Rosalie's songwriting and musical performance matched by her band showed musicians that have studied,digested and thoroughly enjoy playing the wonderful,colourful creative rock music of the late sixties/early seventies.
Loved the gig,appreciated the venue and the varied clientele that made a brilliant Saturday night !

Having seen Rosalie/Purson numerous times, this was a really tight knit version of the band who were blistering, plus two more enjoyable bands. Not a venue I'd been to before but friendly and a decent sized music room with just the right amount of atmosphere! Bit of a trek out for me but definitely on my radar now.
