Ben has great presence, and his performance was top class, well suited the venue. The venue was really good, friendly with real ale on tap at reasonable prices. What's not to like.
Just wish some people in the audience would stop talking / filming and listen to the live performance. ... Guess that curtesy value is dead and buried. Doc

The artist was amazing along with the sound.
The main issue is there are a few groups of people that continually talked through the whole set and the support. which was very distracting even at the front.
At times you could tell the artists were distracted by it too.
Very disrespectful to everyone else that had attended and wanted to fully enjoy the music they had paid for.

Helicon was Gig of the year so far for me and I do one or two gigs a month an hour radius from Coventry. Great band great atmosphere and sound is always good in the concert room. Black Prince is a great pub and my only gripe is in main bar staff sometimes neglect customers waiting on one side of the horseshoe bar. But good selection of beer and reasonable prices. Pub has a huge garden.
