A very clever man who knew how to select, pitch and promote to a "Daily Mirror" audience.
Most of his jokes were aimed at a "working man's club" type of person or , to put it bluntly, dirty jokes which blokes would share .
Most of his jokes included the word "f**k" which made people laugh and shout.
Why is that funny?
Upon arrival, the foyer was packed with beer swillers who took pints into the theatre then, throughout the performance, went for a pee only to return with more glasses of beer.
I can say that I have seen Jim Davidson perform - once.
That is enough.
