PREDECEASED
Three WEIRDO RIFFERS that make a good grunge racket with post-hardcore structures and kraut jammer instrumentation. Some bands they’ve toured with are Quicksand, Mclusky, Fall of Troy, EVERY HELL & JOHN.
Henry Rollins (Black Flag) is a fan. Walter Schreifels (Rival Schools/Quicksand) is a fan. Brian Foss (KEXP) is a fan. Daniel Carter (BBC Radio 1) is a fan. Alyx Holcombe (BBC Radio 1) is a fan. Emily Pilbeam (BBC Radio 6) is a fan. The Fall of Troy are mates.
Mclusky think they’re great. Every new fan made at a show has been digging it big time.
Last year they released their first album WHAT DO YOU DO? which landed repeated national coverage and radio play with BBC Radio 1 & BBC 6Music and internationally at KEXP & KCRW. 2024 has already seen them release a Live EP on tape and video. The spring saw their double a-side THE NEWS/SUN READER release with a headline tour to go with it. Two more singles are due for release in the next two quarters with a physical LP release.
