The Playhouse Theatre venue information

The Playhouse is an intimate little theatre upstairs in a row of Victorian terraced houses. It is above Brockhalls Coachworks and was once a coffin factory. It was converted for its present use in 1961.

We regret that access for people with disabilities is limited as the only access is up a wide, steep and long staircase.

Parking is rarely available on nearby streets and you should be aware that many roads have parking restrictions until 10.00pm. Please allow time to park and walk to the theatre from the car parks indicated on the map. The Theatre opens 45 minutes before each show and the bar is open from 7.00pm until 10.30pm.
