Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
I had a wonderful time here with friends, the tribute acts were great (although David Bowie should have been later in the afternoon, we only caught the end but he sounded great!). There was a good view of the stage from most of the venue, very good amount of Portaloos and it was fun to go on the rides. The only downside was the length of the queues for the food trucks and the limited variety of food on offer.

The acts were all very good, except for the last one, which relied heavily on a lot of electronic flashing lights.
Now onto the food situation. At peak time it was a 2.5 hour wait for food ax there were only three food vans. Only one can srrving hot drinks and they kept running out of hot water, so were serving luke warm tea.

We paid got VIP but unfortunately the queue for standard entry moved 3-4 times quicker than ours as there was only 1 turnstile against 3 for standard admission. Once in the VIP area was small and quite crowded and to the side of the stage so that some of the artists couldn't been seen while preforming.
No food or drink allowed but when there is only 3 good outlets the queue for food was well over an hour
Most of the acts were good it was just the organisation that was well below expectations.
If we went again we wouldn't pay for VIP as just not worth it

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
The groups were good, especially Elton John & Oasis, the VIP extras were a great add on & all the staff were friendly & efficient but the food situation was appalling!
Three vans absolutely rushed off their feet, doing their very best to provide food as quick as they could for the whole park was disgusting, it took me 2 ½ hours of queuing to get a pizza & the other queues weren't much better, everyone was moaning but we had little choice if we wanted to eat. Even your poor staff couldn't eat because they didn't have the time to wait in a queue. You didn't allow us to bring in any food or leave the venue & return, ( I could've driven a long way to get food & returned in less time!) you assured us there would be ample food trucks but there wasn't! I shan't be returning & I'm sure it will have put a lot of people off another time. Either provide enough food trucks or allow people to bring in their own food, even if you charge another £5-10 for the privilege, it's not good for people with allergies either, to have such little choice. Even if I'd brought a sandwich in, I would also have liked to buy something else, after all, it was an all day event & could've been a nice day except for the lack of food trucks!
I literally missed a whole act & part of another due to standing in a queue.
Not impressed & will not be returning! 😠

The music was great. Breaks in-between seem too long. I would not recommend the VIP ticket, as only 1 entry for this and 3 for standard ticket and they were in quicker than us, even when it said VIP would be quick. Would also recommend for more food trucks as had to wait 1 hour x 2 for food and VIP area was very small behind a fence and couldn't see stage very well.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
The event was really badly organised, and staff appeared to be standing around not having a clue about what they were supposed to be doing. We opted for VIP tickets to queue jump and get a better experience - but the VIP queue was longer than the general one, and the VIP area was at the side of the stage so that the acts couldn't be seen as well as they were with general tickets. There were only 3 food vans with the queues being over 2 hours long. Soft drinks were £3, and a can of beer being £6 - more expensive than at Latitude. No re-entry meant that we were trapped inside the venue waiting in queues for hours for overpriced food and beverages. Although the acts were good and the admission price seemed fair, it was a very poor experience. We left before the event even finished because a member of our group was diabetic and couldn't wait any longer to get served some food. What appeared to be a great day out ended up being sorely disappointing.

The acts were all good, especially Masters of the Scene (ABBA), Vox Beatles and Oasis. Queen were the headline act, and although musically good the lead singer was the weakest of all acts - nothing like Freddie. Food prices were outrageous (as they always are at these events - should be allowed to take your own in) and the water from the free top up barrels had a horrible metallic taste. Wouldn't have risked eating anything with meat in it having seen stacks of burgers just sitting in the sun when we arrived.

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Norwich!
Really disappointed. Djs playing the same tracks, overlaying great tracks with others and ruining originals, starting tracks and changing to another within 10 seconds leaving us hanging! We came for a 90s thing but it was very 2024.

Shambles. I felt sorry for the artists who were appearing. They deserved better. To be fair, if I had only paid the early bird price of £14, the event would have been excellent value for money except for the food situation (as detailed in other reviews).
However, I paid for VIP tickets which were a rip off.
I will only attend again if we are allowed to take food and drink in and there are more and varied food vendors. The noodles I queued an hour for were cold and disgusting. Veggie options were very thin on the ground and there were no veggie burgers (never available or run out??).

We had vip tickets for Sunday, shouldn't have bothered as it took longer to queue to get in than general admission and we missed the first act, vip area was to the side of the stage with restricted view, so we went to the front of the stage where no chairs were allowed. Queue for food was approx 2 hrs and ridiculous prices. However music and atmosphere was great and we had a fun time.

We paid for VIP access but unfortunately we were disappointed as the toilets were absolutely vile. The strong smell of urine as soon as you walked into the facility. Also, they didn't have all the same drink options in the VIP so actually we ended up using the other bar and toilets as they were better than the VIP. Very disappointing

Security was totally over the top on entrance. Confiscated my food, water in my own bottle and my deoderant. Ridiculous.
|Also, my friends and I had a VIP ticket, didn't bring fold up chairs and had to sit on the ground. Not very VIP at all.
Lastly, the website gave no information on what was allowed/not allowed into the venue. I will not go again.
