Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Norwich!
music average, alcohol over priced and slow service, not allowed to take anything in including water (no free water on site). basically just there to make money

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
Really enjoyed the day. The bands were great. The venue struggled for the second day running with a lack of facilities for the number of people involved. Toilet queues dissapeared, bar queues were better but they completely ran out of most things well before closing (I suspectn they'd packed away early? Draft bar closed well early?). Food queues were horrendous. 2 hours to get a pizza at max.

We bought VIP Tickets and waited an age to get in the queue, in fact general admission got in quicker than we did. very poor response when we asked why we were taking longer. Once in the vip area was virtually full and very small. THere were only 3 food stalls with people waiting upto 3 hours to get served. I would give the organisers 1 out of 10 , and that is grudgingly.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
As advertised it was a day out for the whole family. Plenty of toilets and space, music good but too long between acts. If you sat on the side of the funfair rides you couldn't hear the music properly as they had their own thing going on. We weren't allowed to take food in but the queue for the 3 food vendors was ridiculous as only a couple of people were serving at each. The drinks were better organised. A few signs on parking and the event itself would have been useful.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
An event running for 10hours where no one can bring food or drink themselves but have to buy it. Not good for people with conditions like diabetes or allergies. Large queues to all food stall and these were expensive, making the tickets around £120 per person for the full day. The quality of the music and the venue is not worth that. Do not attend or buy ticket for this scam event.

It was a great day and the bands were very good. The food was pricey and the queues for food were horrendous. There needs to be more food stalls and more options e.g. wraps/baguettes etc. The smell from the toilets was awful and needs to be looked into next time. Don't have the "VIP" toilets so close to the stage!

The musicians in the afternoon were great as was lunchtime food capacity.
VIP queuing was unacceptablely long and we had arrived at 12:30.
VIP ladies' loos were not adequately serviced as time wore on and I complained about both things.
We left early, missed evening acts because food provision was totally inadequate at 6pm once the site was full.
Luckily, most people seemed to have had a good time by the time we left at least.

I was not happy with the So called VIP area! A it was badly situated, B it was full when I arrived! C the toilets were disgusting....I actually used the ordinary porta loos which were attended all day, were clean had hand sanitiser and plenty of toilet rolls! Far superior too VIP as it had a terrible stench....very unpleasant..
However other than that the music was very good and no complaints there.

Do not spring for VIP tickets. Its a waste of time. The VIP area is the size of a postage stamp, and the facilities are better in the main arena. Also we noticed that from previous dates, the food cost went up at Norwich by about 30%. Have breakfast before you go. The second stage didn't exist, and most of the bands advertised were not there. The organisation and management is shocking to say the least, but the bands were excellent.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
The bands were really good, the rest very poor, how you can organise things as bad as this is beyond me.
Getting in was a shambles. I had VIP tickets but the queue for VIP meant it took 3 or 4 times as long to get in as the non VIP tickets. Only one entrance for VIP, 3 for non VIP.. They had sold far too many VIP tickets but, I guess, we're completely unaware of this. Because of this, the small VIP section was rammed, needless to say I didn't bother!
Then there was the bar situation. No real queue which was fine, but in the VIP all they were selling was warm cans of drink!! At least there was over priced Lager, & cold but awful IPA in the other part. What a shambles!
Then there was the food situation. No food or drink allowed in & I get that, but you must then provide a good number of outlets so you can buy massively overpriced food, but there were three! Around tea time each had a queue that was at least an hour & a half long!! Could could go on & on......
This could have been good, has well impressed with the acts. Just needs people with more than an ounce of sense to organise it!!!

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
We were so looking forward to this festival, to start we reached Norwich & Earlham Park, there were no signs directing us to parking, plenty of people in high vis but very unhelpful! We paid VIP but couldn't get into VIP area as it was full, we did use the toilets but didn't need to use bar as main area had a huge bar. The VIP area blocked us seeing the stage! We did walk down to the stage but VIP toilets were adjacent to Stage & we could smell them!! One of our party has a condition that she has to eat regularly, total inadequate amount of food it was taking over an hour to get food!! We decided to go to Sports park to get her something & were told we wouldn't be allowed back in!! I know there was a lot of disgruntled people!! This is the first festival I've been to that was so badly organised! I hope you take my comments on board but as I've been told it's all about making money!!!

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
The acts were all good apart from the Spice Girls; I don't know why they were included in the line up. The security was very over the top considering it was a daytime event with a lot of older people (hence really long queues to get in). There were only three food trucks and as we weren't allowed to bring our own food/drink in, the queues were outrageous! They could have fitted in at least another 4 or 5 food/drink stands rather than the 2, very noisy fairground rides. At times, the rides were noisier than the acts on stage. A stall for decent coffee/soft drinks would have been good too. The free water that was supplied was a good idea but tasted like chlorine. It's a shame as with a few minor updates, this could have been a really successful event.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
Whilst the ticket prices were very reasonable I was disappointed that not all the artists who were advertised played. There were really long gaps between each of the artists coming on and there were no signs confirming the running order for the day despite this being suggested. The food and drinks were overpriced as you'd expect at an event like this but the bigger issue was queues. We heard some people waited 1 1/2 hours to get served for food so we just starved and went to McDonalds afterwards. If we had been able to take a picnic and our own drinks we would have enjoyed much more. We ended up leaving during the last act.

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Norwich!
All of the artists were fabulous and we enjoyed the entertainment. We had VIP tickets and the only advantage seemed to be the initial queue when entering and better toilets. The VIP area was too busy to sit in so we sat out of it. The most disappointing thing about the day was we had to queue for 2 hours to get food, there was no VIP fast queue for food and not enough food vendors and staff for the amount of people attending. I ended up with a back ache from queing so long and it spoiled part of my day. If the organisers will not allow food to be taken in, then they need to provide enough food stalls & staff manning them. Two hours queing is not acceptable and would put me off returning unless the problem were resolved for futute events. There were plenty of staff for the bars though, although drinks were quite expensive.
