When we saw the show advertised we decided to book. It wasn't clear at the time if the event was seated or standing so I took out the refund protection, as I had just has a new hip. When it became  clear that it was standing only I knew I would not be able to stand for 2 or 3 hours so I tried to claim from Tick*t Plan for a refund and return the tick*ts. They advised to contact my surgery for a letter stating I would struggle to stand.  The surgery want to charge me £45.00 for a letter and my claim was for £30.00. After various conversations with Tick*t Plan they refuse to pay and advised me to take it up with Skiddle as they hadn't stated it was a standing only event,  so no I wouldn't recommend Skiddle.

Review of Country Club - Country Music Festival - Norwich (LAST TICKETS!)

Pretty much spent the whole time queuing. Arrived at 6pm and joined the queue that went around the corner, after 25 mins of not moving, we started to move, only to be told we were queuing the other side of the door and still not letting people in. Some guy came and and took photos of us queuing and said it was gorgeous promo. Finally after a 40 minute delay, they let us in, didn't check our tick*ts. Inside there was a cheap tin can alley, a lasso stand and a rodeo bull. The dj stand looked good but the atmosphere was definitely not immersive as advertised. When I booked, I thought there would be more live music acts or a band instead I'm notified the night before event that there is a 1hr dj set followed by 30 mins line dancing (too many people to do this) another 1hr dj set, a 20 minute live tribute to Lainey Wilson (very amateur) and then 2hrs and 10min dj set to finish the night. That isn't a festival to me and that was what was advertised. It felt more like a nightclub and a 25 minute wait at a 6 deep bar for a £7 pint was not okay. We were really looking forward to this but the late start with no apology or explanation started the whole thing off on a negative and it just went downhill from there. Not a great event. It shouldn't be advertised as a festival, more like a country themed night. Needed a proper host to get the atmosphere right. We left early and got a taxi home. Gutted.
