Review of Music Worldwide Summer Camp
A truly real and friendly space to meet new and old acquaintances and to participate in one of the most cosy and real performance spaces . This suitably uncommercial gathering is a hive of activity, a party and a place to stretch your learning in drumming dance and song. A meeting point with pedigree for the Djembe and Sabar family and West African Dance, Latin Sounds, Song and Dance and other eclectic acoustic musical sources. The evening performances were wonderfully warm and exciting encompassing all the genres at the festival, enjoyed amidst the company of friends (i.e.everyone), can't recommend this superb event more!!

Poor facilities for an event that is making farmer minimum 50k +. Site said 500 max at £55 a day, there were many more than 500 though, we estimated a 1,000. Not enough portaloos and old ones at that without a trapdoor mechanism so waste just piled up in bowl and rarely cleaned out. No dedicated chemical toilet disposal. Showers a disgrace. Why not hire premium shower facilities, I'm sure people would pay extra. Whole thing was run as if ' hippy types' would settle for any dirty facilities. Onsite food stalls were overpriced and of really poor quality. Music was good, tho if you dont bring your own drum you're not welcome to join in. Site field was nice and flat and surrounding countryside beautiful. If youre into shamanic drumming I guess you can put up with the filthy facilities.

Amazing weekend at Drum Camp... incredible teachers and performances, lovely community feel and beautiful atmosphere... I've only just left and I already can't wait for 2025!!!! Thank you all who made this possible, massively grateful!
