What a great night! So good to see so many people adopting the Roaring Twenties theme. Fantastic band, as always Got everybody on the floor from the first song and for the rest of the night- I’ve never danced so much. Food was ok, bar prices a bit steep but expected. All in all a top night 👍😊

Enjoyed a fantastic 1920s night on the 3rd December 2022. The music was just amazing. What gorgeous voices those singers both had! I’ve never danced so much at a party in all my life.

Food was average but nice. Drinks pricey but good. Dance floor could be bigger but there was a beautiful atmosphere and the music made it even better. Lots of great 1920s costumes!

Fantastic 1920s night on Saturday 3rd December. Food very good, group were great and got everyone on the dance floor. Real party atmosphere and nearly all party goers dressed in 20s gear. Drinks very pricey but to be expected

was disappointed to be honest
music wasn’t really party music
staff needed training most had no idea what they were really doing
the meal was dragged out and not enough music to create an atmosphere
food was ok / cheese board fab
definitely more of an old generation theme
very disappointed we won’t book again

Onl problem was that dinner wasn't served until well after 8 and music then started so late (10ish) we only were able to hear one set of the Actual ABBA music even though we stayed until 11:30.

You would think with the title ‘Roaring 20’s night ‘ and the associated marking images, that there would be a high content to reflect the 1920s. That the band would be maybe playing some Charleston type music etc. that’s why we along with 1/3 of the attendees bought outfits to blend in with the theme.

However, there was absolutely no link to 1920s at all. The DJ was a cheesy Christmas party DJ . The band just played mainly pop covers ( very talented but nothing 1920s related)

The food - was tepid warm, and very poor quality.

Very disappointed & feel money wasted.

There was no-one at the door so confused about where to sit. Asked at the bar and there was a seating plan which was on the wall behind you.

There was only one guy serving at the bar which led to lengthy queues.

Music was great, food was below par. Would I go back? Not sure.

I have heard better abba groups ,as for the meal I think there was 6 people serving but they seemed to be wondering everywhere ,there was no organisation,they could of had 4 to 5 tables each and served them ,plus you would of been better to have a set menu and had a vegetarian alternative if needed ,I have worked in that environment and I feel I would of had it more organized

Night was great ..hotel shabby and expensive , rooms were grubby. Although breakfast was nice.
The £3 booking fee on each ticket via skiddle is a bit much as told by the hotel I could of booked direct with no fees ..I ordered 12 tickets ...so not moaning about a couple of quid ..but £36 anc you have yo download the tickets yourself ...

Really well presented and good management of a sensitive subject. Took my 17 year old whoâ??s interested in a career in psychology. Would definitely recommend.
