Review of Motown, Classic Soul, 60s RnB & Northern

Disappointed this year. Price increase from £15 to £20 but less benefits. No discount for eating at Yellows and no free late night food included as before. I was informed popcorn was available. That is fine if you like it. Fancy dress theme was limiting as it was based on a circus. We did not bother and am glad we didn't in view of the number of duplicates. Poor turnout in comparison to other years and wasted money spent on an inflatable that was not suitable for the elders in the room. 3 stalls offering one jelly sweet as a prize were our benefits. Ticket says prizes for best dress. There was only one prize. Bit of a rip off in my opinion. No photographer either this year. My partner and I left early feeling our £40 could have been better spent elsewhere. Our friends stayed a while longer but they also felt the same and this has put us all off for next New Years Eve. We are already considering other options.

Brilliant music, lots of great Northern Soul tracks that I hadn't heard before. Good mixed age group. Spacious venue overlooking the pitch.
