We really enjoyed the Beeston Festival. It was our first time this year and we can recommend it. It isn't a big festival, the atmosphere was friendly and very family orientated. The stewards were helpful and there were a variety of food outlets to cater for everyone. Hopefully will be going next year.

Was disappointed to find that initially we had to stay in a certain area to have a drink but luckily this was changed otherwise this would have ruined the day!
Didn't like the token system.
More choice of alcohol eg bitter and ciders
Would much prefer to be allowed to bring our own food and drink.
Toilets with hand washing facilities a must next time
The artists performing were excellent especially Queen Oasis and Harry.

It was a bad start to the day as we had taken a family picnic but despite emailing to ask if this was allowed prior to the event, no response was received. Lots of people had to throw good food away which despite the cost...didn't feel ethical. We continued into the event and put all the angst behind us. My family enjoyed this day out.

In the FAQ's I read that you weren't allowed to take your own/food drinks (other than sealed water) so didn't but the majority of others had full blown picnics so I was rather annoyed! Spending the whole day there meant we spent a lot on food/drinks which weren't cheap.

Music was good with Queen being brilliant but i'm not sure what happened with Amy Winehouse - she was terrible, didn't sing a full song and spent most of her time talking with a few slurred swear words included! I think she must have hit the bar early - disappointing!

Overall Queen made the day - a fantastic performance and really got the crowd engaged!

More food options at reasonable prices. Drinks license at the start for the field area, rather than us having to relay to purchase and drink our drinks alone.

Over priced food all round, especially Pizzas £12 and were tiny. Not enough toilets. Rides expensive. The acts were fabulous.. Not enough drinks choices.

A great family event , venue and location great and appeared well organised, brilliant atmosphere.
Issue with not taking drinks out of the bar area was a big issue but was resolved .
Food prices were really high for what you got - pizza in particularly and was poor.
Drinks prices were reasonable and served quickly.
Disappointed to see others around us with picnics to be bought in when it stated you weren't allowed to so we didn't . Being there over 10 hours restricted to the food on sale turned out very expensive day .
Ticket prices were reasonable and majority of acts really good . Queen particularly were excellent and should've headlined.
Would definitely go again if the food situation was improved and allowed own as well.

Only negative things I would have to say that there were a lot of people with their own food and drink, had I have known I may have got away with doing this I'd of taken some of my own stuff and saved a few pounds !
Also the security staff near the bar were definitely under the impression they were police officers stopping people taking their drinks back to where they were sat.
All in all though it was a really day, we are looking forward to next year 😊

Thought the venue was well laid out. The use of the main building was great for the use of the toilets. Bought early bird tickets so thought that was a good price to pay. The Amy Winehouse tribute wasn't good. She hardly sang and just talked over the songs. On the whole the other acts were good. Would have been nice to have bitter as a choice of drink.

I thought it was expensive to get in , not enough toilets and the token system for food and drinks was ridiculous apart from that the music and atmosphere was great .😊
