Butt Field Sports Club

After a successful first event in 2015 and due to the fantastic public response, Bingham BFest, a music festival for the community of Bingham will return for its second year on Sat 9th July 2016. BFest is organised by the volunteers of Butt Field Sports Committee http://buttfieldsportsclub.org.uk/ who are responsible for the upkeep and development of the facilities at Butt Field Bingham which are used by Bingham Town Youth football Club and Bingham Town Cricket Club. The funds raised from BFest will go towards the up keep of the Butt Field Sports Club and improving the current facilities for the 400+ children and adults who use them. One of the key aims of the club is to provide two 3G pitches in the future and add facilities which will enhance the cricket pitch. The event itself will be held at Butt Field, Bingham, NG13 8GG and will feature a mixture of bands from the East Midlands but with an emphasis on local music wherever possible. To give BFest an overwhelming finale’ the closing headline act will be Ben: Michael Jackson http://www.michaeljacksonuk.com/, Ben’s portrayal of Jackson has to be the most accurate and exciting tribute to the King of Pop to have ever toured the UK. Ben is joined on the stage by his Incredible Band and Dancers who work their way through all the hits. He’s got the look, the moonwalk and the voice! His renditions of Thriller, Beat it and Billie Jean are truly sensational. Featuring all-live vocals and music, fabulous costumes, and of course all the signature dance moves associated so fondly with the undisputed King of Pop, this is pure MJ! BFest will have two stages, one acting as the main stage and the second being held in the Butt Field Sports Club featuring acoustic artists and local up and coming acts. The event will also feature other activities including, children’s funfair rides, food stalls, outside and inside bars, face painting, etc. Other bands featuring on the main stage, are The Moderators from Leicester, The Monday from Nottingham, Propeller, Matt Humprhries, Ginny Brown & The Collective and The Invaders. Discounted Early Bird Tickets for the event go on sale on Tues 1st March and will be priced at Adults - £17.50, Under 12’s - £10, Family Ticket 2+2 - £47.50 and children under 5 will have free entry. All prices include booking fee. Doors are scheduled to open at 12.30 and the event is scheduled to finish at 10pm.
