Review of Save The Rave: 90's Festival - Newark
Far better last year with the outdoor stage. And more space to sit on the grass. Lots of people sat on the concrete as not many places to sit. Not sure why it's been changed. Was a shame really. Music great!

There was a good atmosphere but after talking to a lot of people they was saying it's not what they thought it would be apparently last year it was on the grass and so much better hopefully if we come again you will look into a field again I think there was a lot of disappointment in what people expecting

Lack of information on ticket. We didn't know it was an inside event although advertised as outside. Also didn't know that you couldn't take your own chairs or it was a big palava to go back to your car to put unneeded coats back in. Also didn't know that you couldn't take glass perfume bottles in or alcohol.
In brief Very poor communication of rules and event.

Awful compared to last year. And last year needed improvements anyway. This years inside had no atmosphere. Music was too quiet. It was too hot. Felt like a cheap setup. Toilets a disgrace and not enough as usual. It all felt dirty. Not enough seating or clean areas to rest. Not enough security or a first aid area. £10 parking a joke. Food vendors were not allowed to sell soft drinks, again ridiculous. Lack of vegetarian options. Needed also a coffee seller and a dessert/sweet treat seller. The music was ok but a lot of repeat songs and nothing new. All us customers said there were issues last year but again they have not responded and actually made it worse this year. Friends and myself contacted them prior to event but they have no customer service and never reply. Sorry but it wasn't good and after two hours there I wanted to leave but stayed just for the music..

I think the big festival advertising about this event is nothing like the experience in going for real, Music wasn't great djs didn't play full tracks was skipping from track to track to fast. Sound and lighting wasn't great & Very overpriced on drinks.

It wasnât like last year in the field no atmosphere inside not enough toilets and they were disgusting not enough room outside felt penned in no grass to sit on you couldnât get a bench ,we really enjoyed last year really disappointed this year we wonât be back next year
