Nottingham Arts Theatre is situated in the heart of the trendy Hockley area in the city centre. The main theatre seats 300 people and has a proscenium arch and an orchestra pit. the intimate café bar open an hour before each performance for you to enjoy tea or coffee or a selection of alcoholic beverages. You can also order interval drinks and enjoy an ice-cream. A varied programme of shows is presented by a large number of amateur and professional visiting companies. The theatre is also hired out to a number of local musical and dance groups. Nottingham Arts Theatre is a community theatre for the people of the city and beyond, which offers opportunities for all in the performing arts. The theatre has been a theatre for 65 years and is now a registered charity. Please come and support your local community theatre.
