Was brilliant until the thunder storm we were asked by the host to wait at the gate house as it would be safer after approx 10 minutes a bouncer was walking around and just said thatâs it show Is now cancelled make your way out. No apology and no explanation so disappointed as only booked the tickets to see Simon Brodkin.

Event cancelled half way through before main acts took to the stage. First two acts were excellent, however thunder & lightening forced the event to be cancelled. Poor communication from organiser advising the audience the event was cancelled. Everybody was asking what the refund procedure is?

Pre-event information was well communicated: so we knew to dress appropriately for a September evening outside. Getting in to the venue was hassle-free; it is a great setting and was well laid out. The local compère was a great choice and really engaged with the audience. The acts were all great: the only drawback was the distance to the stage from our seats near the back of the marquee. Less of a problem for the musically-based support acts because the sound system allowed us to hear everything, but the visual impact and skill of Nina's ventriloquism was kind of lost when she was so far away.
I think the ticket prices were fair. And I probably wouldn't wince any more at paying £6 for a pint at event like this. But, for me, £10 for a small tray of rice with 5 small cubes of lamb is too much.
Final top tip: take a head torch for use in the portaloos after sunset!

It was a comedy acts
They where amazing
However poor seating arrangements ment you couldn't see much
Easy solve, stagger the seating on each row
Better chance of seeing
Great food
Good beer
Rubbish RUM
A bit expensive for the food, but you expect that
But the food was good

Couldn't get close enough to the stage to see Nina properly. Would have been better if she had been half way down marquee and we semi circled round. All comedians need the hecklers nearer the from to give them more material. Food and drink expensive! Still had a great night, thanks
