Music was fab, venue has a reputation but that didn't tarnish my experience because I really enjoyed myself as did my friends. Only problem was that it was so busy - was hard to dance and a couple of us had drinks poured on us by accident which put a bit of a dampener on the evening.

Yet to find somewhere in Nottingham that plays anything like the classics played at SoulJam. Great turn up from the community although I think most people are there for something to do rather than for the music as it’s at such a popular venue, as to be expected in most clubs. Couldn’t imagine anything better from a disco/funk event.
