Alex Mitchell

He uses self-deprecating humour – laughing at himself, his neurodivergence, disability and sexuality – to reflect on some of the most difficult subjects within his own life and wider society.

Morgan has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.

Tour Support for Fern Brady, Rhys James, Jayde Adams, Nigel Ng and Paul Chowdhry.

‘Clearly be going places’ – Bruce Dessau
‘Excellent’ – The Scotsman
‘Fast gags, unexpected swerves and rolling stories’ – The Sunday Times

Jules O'Brian

Jules O’Brian (Middle)

Jules O’Brian first took to the stage in 2017, at The Comedy Loft, in Birmingham, as part of a night for charity. A keen fan of Rik Mayall, French and Saunders, Victoria Wood, and Joan Rivers, as well as Katherine Ryan, Tim Minchin, Amy Schumer, and the Brum-based Luisa Omielan, Jules states her stand-up style is “Butter wouldn’t melt meets Is That All There Is?” (a reference to the dark song made famous by singer Peggy Lee).

An English Tutor, Jules currently lives in Tamworth, Staffordshire, and performed a sell-out ‘triple-header’ with pals Tal Davis and Hannah Weetman during 2021’s Birmingham Comedy Festival.

Jules O’Brian was shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, and performs at venues and festivals around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating. She is TalkTalk’s official voice – chosen by none other than the legend Bernard Cribbins – and her silly writings feature frequently in magazines including Prima and MamaLife. This former teacher’s relaxed and chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.

Nominated for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2022

Lori Smith

Please note that Lori Smith cannot appear at this event due to circumstances beyond our control.

Steve Rimmer

Steve Rimmer (MC)

Steve Rimmer is a Comedian from Hull who is a regular on the London Open Mic and pro scene. He started on the Comedy Circuit in January 2011 and as far as we know he is the UK’s only working Bomb Disposal Engineer Comedian. With his job he gets to travel the length and breadth of the country gigging whenever possible. His comedy style is suited to any part of a comedy night whether its opening, middle or closing, Steve has high energy and a cheeky charm, with a humor that has been compared to Kieth Lemon.

Steve spent 8 years serving in the British Army (not that he likes to bang on about it) where he honed his skills at entertaining his fellow Troops. He strongly believes that if he can make a bunch of tired and hungry Soldiers laugh in places like Afghanistan then he will have no problems in a Comedy Club.

Steve’s unique background has made him an interesting subject for TV/Radio/Podcast/Newspaper Interviews (links at the bottom of the page)

He is a regular MC at TNT in London’s Kentish Town and has also guest MC’d many other Open Mic/Pro Nights. He often organises Comedy Nights in his home town of Hull and is also a resident MC of Comedy @ The Terrace, a comedy club in Hull.

Steve has performed at many charity gigs especially “Help for Heroes” a charity close to his heart.

Please be advised that our comedy line-ups are subject to change. Our talented comedians are in high demand and, on occasion, may need to cancel at short notice for television or radio recordings, among other reasons. Rest assured, we will always provide a replacement act of similar quality to ensure that our guests receive a great overall show experience.

While most of our guests come for the entire show, we understand that some may be travelling to see a particular comedian. If that’s the case, we recommend checking our website on the day of the show or joining our mailing list to receive the latest updates on any changes to the line-up. We’re committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience, and we thank you for your understanding.

Please note that the show starts at 8pm, so please ensure you leave plenty of time to get to your seat before the first act.
