Funhouse Comedy Club - New Years Eve Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy brings a New Year's Eve Special night of laughter to the Cottage Hotel, Ruddington on Tuesday December 31st.

Topping the bill is comedian, writer, radio broadcaster and TV presenter Nick Page, a semi-finalist on 'Britain's Got Talent' and winner of English Comedian of the Year 2017. The seemingly indestructible, larger than life, award winning English comic, whose life is a series of disasters, somehow turning into unlikely triumphs. No gimmicks, no PowerPoint, no props and no flipcharts. Just stories and belly laughs, he is a master of his art.

Opening the night will be 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who has appeared on 'Live at the Apollo', had his own Radio 4 show and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up in 2014 English Comedian Of The Year competition, Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2019 and support Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and Micky Flanagan in arenas This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who was busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his 'Stand Up From The Shed' online show.

Completing the line-up is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musical mastermind with hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.

There will be live music to see in the New Year from Duncan Oakley.

Compere for the night will be the positive, amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
