Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night
Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Newark Town Hall on Friday January 31st.
Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”
Topping the bill is the fantastic El Baldiniho, who appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, with his mind-bogglingly daft magic and likeable stage persona he mesmerizes the audience.
Opening the night will be the sometimes self-disparaging musical comedian, Friz Frizzle with his individual anecdotes and speedily delivered song parodies.
Also appearing is the very funny and highly talented Patrick Draper, who took the comedy world by storm after winning a string of new act competitions, with his deadpan delivery, witty one-liners, killer punch lines and ridiculous short stories.
Compere for the night will be the cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy.
