Review of Fields Of Gold Festival 2019
We were told we had to be in before 4 which meant my friend had to arrange time off work. Because so many people arrived at that time the toilet and beer queues were over an hour. A lot of people just left and you couldn’t come back in. The bands and the place were great and we enjoyed it apart from the early misery

I'm currently trying to find out how to get a full refund. Myself and my pals spent 2 hours there (in a queue for a drink that whole time - couldn't even hear the music in the queue) after only moving 2 metres in that time we decided to leave. Absolute shambles. 2 hours I'll never get back! I'm pretty certain I won't be the only one complaining either!

Review of Fields Of Gold Festival 2019
The event itself was good in terms of the bands on offer and the music. However earlier in the day the music needed to be louder as the vocals were low.
The prices were ridiculous for what was offered which was ashame. £4 for a can of warm crap lager such as calsberg or fosters is a rip off and every can purchased had to be opened and went flat or got spilled. (this is not needed for future events) and you need far more bars set up and choice of drinks.
The food was OK for a festival especially the nearly famous stall. However the prices are still quite high. £12 for a burger and chips etc isn't reasonable. And again more food outlets are required as a 25min wait just to be served is poor turnover of service.
Could also do with some lighting such as floodlight for when it get too dark.
The toilet situation was quite poor with urinals overflowing but as a guy it's easy to go anywhere but I can assume woman couldn't stand the situation.
Therfore the organisers have alot to look at for next year considering it was £25 a ticket were as festwich festival based in prestwich is £4 and twice as big and cheaper in all areas.

Review of Fields Of Gold Festival 2019
I have been to loads of musics festivals and this was absolutely horrendous. Whoever whe organiser was has made a lot of money out of a lot money and put on a very poor site. The sounding for the poor bands was horrendous. The queing for beers and the toilet was beyond a joke, and then to run it off her 4 hours in to it, with 6 hours to go is unprofessional to say the least. Queing for the toilet is expected but not to that scandalous wait. Bar staff charging an extra £10 if you dont want your drinks opening WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT, another scam. The organisers should give everyone refunds it was a joke. But i guess the organisers aren't really a**ed because they have made a lot of money by robbing the fans, well done 👎👎👎👎👎

Sorry this festival was an absolute joke .
We arrived at around 2.30pm to be told that the beer tent had ran out of drinks.
When we said we’d go across the road to a pub to get a drink we would be refused re-entry . The festival trip for us was for my friends stag party who had traveled from Malaga Spain to be there so not impressed!!!!!

Review of Fields Of Gold Festival 2019
The bands were very good but the sound system was poor and you had to be very near the front to hear the music at a decent level.
There were nowhere near enough toilets, we counted 26 for 4000 people. Queue were insane and it was not policed so unless you wanted an argument you had to put up with people pushing in and being aggressive.
The worst thing was the bar, we got there by 3:30pm. We queued for 45 minutes to buy a drink, when we got to the front we were told that there was no lager left, our only choices were cider and Guinness but that it was 'ok, we are going out to buy more' as though we would wait while they went to the shops. We reluctantly bought cider and were then informed that they don't take card payments. It said this nowhere, and that they would have to open every can (I presume to stop me selling this on). It was ridiculous, the prices were extortionate and the staff were so rude. They looked completely overwhelmed by the whole farce. It was organised by someone who hadn't a clue how to run a festival and it was such a shame as the bands themselves were really good.

Review of Fields Of Gold Festival 2019
The price of the alcohol and waiting over 2 hours to get served was shocking! I enjoyed the tribute bands but after spending £150 for about £30 worth of beer - which all cans had to be opened and went warm after a short while I probly would go again.
The ticket was also £28!
However organised it did a poor job!

Not enough bar staff. Not enough toilets. Only one bar. Sound system wasnt much good unless you were close to the stage. Apart from those issues it was a good day. Needs abit better planning to be a top day next time.
