Review of Rochdale Mayfield Rugby Club Festival
Was a lovely day until Bez came on, this is advertised as a family festival yet I have never heard so much foul language. It went on and on to the point we needed up leaving as we had young children with us. Completely ruined the atmosphere and was not suitable for what was advertised as a family event.

No car parking onside meant our street local to the event was chock full with driveways blocked. We saw drunk drivers getting in cars and driving off. Music was great but hadn't realised it was for kids too. Not really child friendly event with bad language . Many accidents with kids running amok. Tipping benches over and knocking tables full of drinks over. We and our friends all left early.Police were there as we left so already trouble. We were disturbed running up to 1am by rowdy folk getting in their cars on our street. Should never have allowed it with no car parking for 3000 people!

Review of Rochdale Mayfield Rugby Club Festival
A really good entertaining family friendly day out, with a good choice of music, food and other activities . My only annoyance would be the token system for the bar especially as I was left with unused tokens when the bar ran out later in the day. Surely it would be better to have a cashless bar where everyone just pays by card similar to the nearby Rochdale Feelgood festival did the week before.
