We're incredibly excited to be bringing the superb sounds of Kurdish/Syrian Bouzouki player and vocalist Mohammad Syfkhan to Todmorden for the first time. The gig will be upstairs at The Golden Lion.
MOHAMMAD SYFKHAN
Mohammad’s own brand of ecstatic music takes elements from Middle Eastern and North African music to create an atmosphere of joy, love and happiness. Check out his latest album 'I am Kurdish' on the ever excellent Nyahh Records.
PRANGERS
Rochdale's finest. Prangers bring their unique blend of tape manipulation, wild industrial percussion (gas canisters, circular saw blades) and whatever else they fancy to leave you confused and elated in equal measure.
NYAAH RECORDS DJ
The supreme Willie Stewart of Nyahh Records (Mohammad Syfkhan, One Leg One Eye, Natalia Beylis & Eimear Reidy) will be playing some quality tunes before, between and after the bands.
