The Golden Lion is a fantastic place, staff and customers are always friendly and the food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. The music was great - Matt Hum played a fantastic set as always, and Erol Alkan was AWESOME! Not only did he play an exceptional set, he's a really nice guy as we found when we talked to him! The atmosphere was really great - as visitors to the area, it makes a real difference when the venue is so welcoming.
