Lancashire Tech Ecosystem Project: Local Authority Stakeholders

Northern Reach are proposing a new project to Lancashire's 14 districts to connect the Tech/Digital and Cyber focussed Innovation Ecosystem. 

Having worked with Lancashire County Council for almost 4 years to develop Lancashire Digital Hub, we are now planning the next stage. 

In 2024 6 districts have approached Northern Reach to provide designated Tech Community Builders in their region using UKSPF funds to resource. 

From April 2025 Northern Reach would like to propose via Lancashire County Council, to bring the counties districts together, and have a Tech Community in each District, reporting centrally. 

The purpose of this call is to highlight to all districts:

• The role purpose of the Tech Community Builder
• How it fits into your districts hyperlocal ecosystem
• Outputs applied to track success
• What next steps are required for the districts to support a proposal
