Britpop - The legendary 90's decade returns

After the success of our first Britpop Party last year we're doing it again on a traditional 'Big Night Out' in Peterborough. Easter Thursdays in the 90's were as big - if not bigger than a Saturday night!!

If you were into alternative clubbing in the 90s in Peterborough then Saturday nights meant one thing - The Sugar Club BUT , this movement was being replicated all over the country with alternative / indie clubs springing up everywhere - so if you're new to the area and missed out on The Sugar then you're welcome to come to The Met and relive your own particular club venue - the music will be familiar to all

Bands like Oasis Blur Suede Pulp Stone Roses Happy Mondays, (ok late 80's!). Prodigy Nirvana , Pixies , Fat Boy Slim Stereo MC's RHCP . 

In a nutshell every that was good Alternative wise from the 90's

We've 2 of the original Sugar Club DJ's on the decks all night - Martin Rowe and Nathan Cirello.

We'll even be serving Snakebite & Black as standard behind the bar!!

And because we know that we're all a bit older now we'll be running the night from 9pm til 2am - although we'll have a chill on session for some time afterwards!

In a nutshell, if you were there in the 90's , its time to do it all again - after all if the most famous band from the decade can kiss and make up and do a 2 hour show on stage then we're sure you can manage a few hours on a Friday night!!
