DEVCON Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair - Fun 4All!

We’re super excited to bring everyone another brilliant & fun packed day, that appeals to Sci-Fi Fans & all the family alike! 

In-keeping with our core ethos, ‘Creating Smiles & Making a Difference’, we will be helping to raise funds for 'Young Minds Trust'.

The event boasts Film & TV Actors, namely Sylvester McCoy, Katy Manning & Paul Jerricho, all of Doctor WHO fame, as well as The Hobbit, Star Wars, Space 1999 & so much more! There’s an opportunity to have your picture taken alongside & chat to our Guest Stars, as well as purchase a signed Autograph! All our guest actors, are super keen to share their many tales of working in the industry with our DEVCON visitors.

Our first Event of the year, will have a ‘Superhero/heroine’ theme, open to all ages & though definitely not a must, we encourage you to don your favourite costume movie or comic character & join in the many fun activities, taking place, in our dedicated Cosplay Zone - 1st Floor. Great Prizes to be Won!
Children & Adults can test their skills, in our dedicated Gaming Zone, which offers Table Top gaming for all ages & abilities. Throughout the day, there will be lots of Gaming Tournaments that can be pre-booked through Dark Star Gaming, such as Pokemon, Dragonball Z & Warhammer, to name but a few, with £100's worth of Prizes to be Won!
Our younger visitors, can simply enjoy, the less competitive board games & activities & come along and meet Olaf our giant friendly Dragon & take part in Wizardry magic, spell making & crafting & join in the Treasure Hunt & there’s a treat for all who compete😊

Visitors can meet our Star Wars Troopers, Darth Vader & Chewbacca, as well as 2 Doctor WHO Daleks!Step into our world of fantasy & ‘snap-ture’ lots of memories to treasure, with one of our esteemed actors or against one of our many movie props & Back drops.

70+ Trader Stalls, selling Comics Galore, Toys, Toys & more Toys - exclusive collectibles, plus all the high street favourites, published Authors & Writers, as well as hugely talented artists,selling one off commissions, 3D works & prints! There’s lots of Lego, Jewellery, Clothing, Steam punk, Anime, Kawaii, accessories of all sorts & lots more.

There’ll be Q&A’s sessions & workshops, offering expert advice, guidance & know how.
So, all in all a fun & fabulous day out! All of us at DEVCON look forward to welcoming you all!
