Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival to Cornwall!
Lots of fights broke out towards the end of event no drinks left at any of the bars, and to top it off the same tracks were played over and over all day!!!

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival to Cornwall!
Went there to listen and dance to 90's classics. Was very disappointed. Hardly any 90's music played, and bad remixes of the ones that were. MC'ing was over the top, and sets just didn't flow. Lots of stop starts and plugging their 'Ibiza sets' etc. Mixing happy hardcore into Dizzy Rascal, come on.
Fairground rides were a fun addition, but £9 a pop is a bit much. All food was £10, but good selection. Bar ran out of Madri, Coors and Hooch. Had backup Budweiser luckily. £6 a can, not bad I guess at a festival. Bar staff were friendly.
Venue was good. Portaloo positions meant people queuing into the main area. Lots of queuing even with mens urinals.
Overall, a good day really let down by the music. There is a decade of music to pick from. Play the original bangers everyone there wanted to hear.

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival to Cornwall!
Music wasn't the 90,s as advertised!
It was a series of DJ,s playing mixes with many of them playing the same song but with a slightly different mix. We could hear some songs as many as 4 times! It was club music not 90,s! Which got very wearing after 5/6 hours of the same, not to mention how it.was after the full 10hours of it! No song was played in its entirety so just as you were enjoying a song it changed into another mix! Frustrating!
Drinks were extortionate. A "double" gin (questionable) was already made up behind the bar in a small cheap plastic cup and was £12!! Despite this also being the supposed "VIP" area.
Talking of which the "VIP area" was tucked off to the side away from the main stage. Yes the toilets were ok, not portaloos anyway!. Soap and hand towels ran out though! As did the hot water! VIP had their own section of bar which wasn't as busy but drinks were the same as the general admission and still in cheap plastic cups. Would.have expected a better standard of plastic cup or maybe a reusable one!
The recycling was enormous, as stated previously! other festivals give you one glass which you keep for the whole time and refill and not give people another plastic cup everytime they get a drink!
All in all an OK experience at the time but wouldn't rush to another one and overpriced tickets for what was a series of DJ,s playing their playlists!

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival to Cornwall!
Just awful. I was expecting a rave, what we got was a school disco. Over inflated drink prices. £160 for a bottle of vodka. Why would they even be selling that. I was expecting hard-core dance not pop music. So many people leaving. What a absolute waste of money. The pub down the road was better.

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival to Cornwall!
The music was terrible. All our friends were hugely disappointed and will not be booking another Save the Rave event. The DJs changed the track every 2 mins or less, played modern, remixed or 2000s music instead of 90s rave/dance music as advertised. We stopped dancing at all after half an hour as we were so frustrated to hear only tiny snippets of favourite tunes. Constant gaps or stops in the music for DJs to plug their next gigs, shout Oogeys or 'listen to the crowd singing', it was beyond annoying. We paid for and were so looking forward to a 90s rave. We expected two or three areas playing different types of 90s music. Somewhere like Royal Cornwall show ground is big enough to accommodate different areas. I was not impressed in any way. The food and drinks were ridiculously expensive and they ran out very quickly of certain drinks. The only things that were okay were the toilets which were kept topped up of toilet (though not hand sanitizer or cleaned). Appalling event. So many people left early, I overheard many people complaining when I stood in a queue (which I did most of the day to use the toilet, get food or a drink). Don't waste your money!
