Saltash Social Club

A thriving social centre in the heart of Saltash, we are already proving popular as new members come to appreciate the host of facilities and the friendly environment at our club. As part of our total refurbishment, we have a vision to be the social venue that welcomes all the former Saltash Working Men’s’ Club as well as ladies who can also join as full members. The club opens at ten each morning with members socialising over coffee, reading the newspapers on offer, or playing an early game of snooker. The bar opens at 11am and remains open until 11pm each day save for Mondays to Wednesday when it closes for three hours from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. The large and luxurious bar area enjoys superb views up the Tamar and Tavy to the moorland beyond. You can enjoy a wide range of beers, wines and spirits, all at club prices. Proving especially popular are the newly stocked real ales which currently include two local favourites, Cornish ‘Doom Bar’ and Dartmoor ‘Jail Ale’. With a new management team excited to cater for customers' demands, a professional cook is now preparing basket meals as well as the much favoured Sunday Roast. The food menu will be varied and extended according to request. For those who enjoy playing as well as watching games there is a separate games rook with three full size snooker tables. These and the pool table are available for members to enjoy whenever there is no league game utilising them. The club is growing active in promoting league games three times a week, alongside darts teams and two euchre teams, with plans for a pool team in the near future. New members for these teams are always encouraged especially, currently, for the ladies darts team. Whether to share in a lively sociable atmosphere, enjoy watching or playing sport, have a great night out with superb entertainment in the function room, or simply relax over a quiet drink with friends, we aim to be the ideal venue for Saltash to come together!
