Review of Pink Pony Club
Main issue with the night was the DJ. The songs lacked transitions, all were played in full and none of them were remixed. Many songs weren't suitable for a club night due to a low tempo or lack of a beat. Too much mainstream pop, not the type of music you'd expect at a Pink Pony Club aka a gay bar. Needed more music from queer artists' or queer icons.
Also the event was advertised as a rave but the dancefloor was very brightly lit.
The BRAT night few weeks ago was great in terms of music and atmosphere so I know the venue has the potential to deliver which is why I'm disappointed with the Pink Pony event.
