Hi Audience!
We are currently organising our Print Auction Fundraiser Event! In our third year we are aiming to raise money for our final show at London's Free range 2017. We are hosting a fundraising print auction on the 10th February 2017 at the New Continental Hotel, Millbay Rd Plymouth. The fundraiser will aim to raise a large amount of the money we need in order to exhibit at the Free Range Show. So far we have collected over 40 prints and books from various artists, photographers and authors. Our catalogue can be viewed on our website: http://www.weareocular.com/catalogue
More about us: "Ocular is a group of talented Photography undergraduates from Plymouth College of Art. Our cohort investigates the use of the photograph within a range of contemporary contexts and practices. Our diverse approach to photography enables us to form a unique collaboration in our work, accelerated by a powerful group dynamic. In the final year of our degree, we seek to challenge our abilities and introduce our work to a wider audience . “Free Range” will be an ideal opportunity to gain exposure and step into the professional world. In order to take part in such a prestigious event, all exhibitors are required to self-fund their display space, transportation , materials, hospitality and marketing. To create a memorable experience, we will need to raise £3,500 to cover our costs. All donations, big and small, will be gratefully received and will be used exclusively to support our exhibition."
