Loved it definitely gonna go next year !

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Verue is heaps and bounds better then last year. better traders, more stuff to see and do. over all the first year was good this year was great.

My only complaint is the next one can't come sooner.

I bought a ticket purposely to see certain actors. Turns out they couldn’t attend due to poor organisation by event organisers. No refund was offered. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not be buying a ticket in the future if this even carries on.

Island Con is the right word. Advertised a host of well known Hollywood stars and then all cancelled in the month leading up to the event. Only one well known name - Bam Margera. Not even notified most of the others had cancelled.

Will never buy a ticket for this event again. Feel totally ripped off.

It wasn't what I was expecting as a first time visit. There was no specific Dr Who Zone or Dino Zone there was a star Wars zone but that was it. The rest of it was stalls selling things. The kids zone was hard to find. Iur best bit was the first table which was the charity for blind with the Dalek and cyberman heads. And seeing Chewbacca!! We stayed for the Dr Who panel and this was disappointing too...sylvester McCoy swore several times and Paul McGan seemed like he couldn't be bothered! The best one was the chap who plays the cyberman. It was our first Comic Con and will be our last. To me we felt we'd paid £46 to go to a table top sale. Not to see things from comics and programs like Dr Who. Very Very disaapointed and according to our friends it was better than last year.
If you advertise specific zones they should be set out much better...like the Star Wars zone was...have Dr who stuff in one area...Dino stuff in another...Star wars in another...Anime characters....marvel area...etc! But it was a jumble of everything and had to pay extra for things that I feel should have been free with the admission cost.
It was amateurish...hand drawn signs and black tape on the floor. Could have been amazing! But it was poorly put together .

I am extremely disappointed with how I have been treated by the people who run island con. It is nothing but a con!! They make empty promises to the acts so that they can announce them and to lure people in to buy tickets and then when all the top acts cancel as the organiser won't fulfil their promises they refuse to refund tickets. It is appalling service, extremely unprofessional for the acts and the customers.

Great time at island con, I think the venue this year is a huge improvement and probably as big as it gets on the island. Met some really great people.

Island Con was great this year, a lot better place at Cowes Enterprise School, My 11 year old son loved it too, loads of people dressed up, great atmosphere, and plenty to see and do,

Poor number or rooms, stalls, areas, and only saw about 8/9 celebrities none of whom I wanted to meet. Even saw Bam rocking up on the ferry at Southampton on our way home at 3:45...good job we didn’t want to see him as well.

Really enjoyed our day here and would come again,my lb loved meeting the power rangers my only negatives are when we were going in we got given a wristband and never asked for our tickets I did inform a crew member but lots had gone in before us unchecked,the second is the food in the canteen wasn’t that cheap and quality not great and queuing was horrendous and un organised
